Easy jumbo crochet dice pattern

 Jumbo dice

Hi Crocheters, today is a fine day. I was very busy because I was making a new design for you. It is an very easy jumbo  dice, a toy-like sofa, and you could also call it a chair or stool. It is specially made for kids' rooms.

I have made some more designs for kids' rooms, like Elley the Elephant and Dolly the Princess. I love making designs for kids' rooms, and of course, my daughter becomes very happy to receive them.

This Jumbo Dice is really jumbo and heavy because of its size. It is perfect for a kids' room because kids' toys often become dirty, but due to its special design, the dice can be washed. Kids can sit on it, and it can also be used as a chair for a study table. They can play on it and sit on it as well.

Jumbo dice near swimming pool

It can be placed alongside a swimming pool. Because it is made of yarn, there is no chance of any type of damage. Yes, I know it is hard to dry when it gets splashed because of its fiber filling, but you can still place it in dry areas where there is no chance of getting splashed.

Sides of Dice (make 6)
5 chains , Join it with 1st chain through sl.st.
You will find that a circle has been
formed. Now,insert the crochet hook from the
center, we'll create the 1st row.
R1) 5 chain (3dc, 2ch) x 3 = [9dc]
2 chain ,2dc (2 dc]
After making 2 dc, you need to join in the 3rd
chain from the starting chains using a sl. st.
By doing this, you'll find that out of the initial 5
chains we made, 3 of them have turned into 1
dc, giving you a total of 12 dc.
We need to start each new row with 5 chains and
Finish by joining through 3rd chain in the Same manner.

We will finish each row in this manner and we will call this process 'Finished by the 3rd chain'
means (Fb3C)

R2) 5ch (7dc, 2ch) x3 = [21dc]
2ch, 6dc (Fb3c) = [7dc]
R3) 5ch (11 dc, 2ch) x3 [33dc]
2ch, 10dc (Fb3c) = [11 dc]

R4) 5 chain (15dc, 2ch) × 3 = [45dc]
2 chain, 14 dc, Fb3c = [15dc]
R5) 5 chain (19dc, 2ch) x3 = [57dc]
2 chain, 18 dc, Fb3C = [19 dc]
R6) 5 chain (23dc, 2ch) x3 = [69 dc]
2 chain , 22 dc, Fb3c = [23dc]
27) 5 chain (27dc, 2ch)× 3 = [81dc]
2 chain, 26 dc, Fb3c = [27dc]
F/O, weave the ends
change yarn colour to black
At the point where you have fastened off, join the black-coloured
yarn with a sl.st.
R8) 5 chain (31 dc, 2ch) x3 = [93 dc]
2 chain, 30 dc, Fb3c = [31 dc]
F/O, weave the ends

Making Flowers-

6 chain, join it with 1st chain through sl.st
You'll find that a circle has been formed.
Now, taking the crochet hook from the
centre, we'll Create the 1st row
R1)-20 SC
R2)- (3ch, 3dc, 3ch, Join this chain with next
st)x5
F/O, leave a long tail for sew.

Assemble-

Having seen a dice, you might have noticed that
on opposite sides add up to a total of 7. keeping
this in mind, we need to place the flowers
accordingly. Here, we have 4 colours, out of
which we have created 2 sides of each 2
colours, while the remaining 2 colours have only I
side of each. We'll place the sides with the same
colour opposite to each other and similarly for
the other two colours. Following this, we need to
place 2 and 5 flowers on the blue side, 3 and 4
flowers on the light Pink side and 1 and 6 flowers
on the dark Pink and green side, respectively.
We'll sew the flowers onto the sides using a
tapestry needle.

"Now, we'll join the sides of the dice together. Firstly, we'll join all
four sides of the light pink colour with blue, dark pink, blue,
green respectivity. Here, we need to ensure that sides of the
same colour are opposite each other so that the sum of opposite
sides are equels to 7 when considering the direction of the
flowers. Next, we'll join all the edges of the sides together Now,
"we'll only have a box-like structure ready. Now, we'll only join the
remainging side of light Pink. from one edge because we'll need
to attach chains. to the other 3 sides we're attaching chains here
so that they can be used for washing if the dice gets dirty If you
prefer not to attach chains, You can sew all sides closed.

How to sew

To Join two sides of a dice together, first place one side upside down and lay the second side straight on top of it. Then, thread a black-coloured thread through a tapestry needle and insert the needle into both sides stitches simultaneously, pulling the needle through. Repeat this process to sew every
single stitches together.

Fabric stuffed dice

Now we will make a Fabric-stuffed dice which is the post
inner part of crochet dice.
Take a 42 by 42 inches long fabric and cut it into 6 pieces.
Each piere will be 14 by 14 inches. Now, sew it using a
sewing machine in such a way that it forms the shape of a
dice, but ensure that a small portion of one side remain
open so that we can fill it with fiber stuffing. After filling it
with stuffing, we will pack it by hand while sewing.
Now, insert this fiber- stuffed dice into the Crochet dice
and close the zipper/chain or sew it with the yarn.

is ready
